Section 1

Core Theory — Read This First

The #1 conversion killer is the wrong comparison happening in the prospect's head. They hear “landing page” and immediately think: “I could just do that on Wix for free.”

You need to kill that frame in the first 60 seconds and replace it with the right one:

DIY (Wix)FreelancerLiteprop ✓

The /checkout/confirm page shows this table visually — but you plant the frame before they ever visit the site. That's your job on the call.

Section 2

Master Cold Call Script

OPENER

Goal: Sound like a real person, not a pitch. Get them past the “who is this?” guard.

"Hey, is this [NAME / the owner at NAME OF BUSINESS]?"

[They confirm]

"Hey — this is [YOUR NAME], calling from Liteprop. We build websites for local trade businesses out here in Colorado. I'm going to be upfront — this is kind of a cold call, but I promise it's a short one. You got like 90 seconds?"
Why:

Asking permission disarms them. Most callers steamroll — you're already different.

PAIN IDENTIFICATION

Goal: One or two questions max. You're not interrogating, you're just confirming what you already know.

"Quick question — does [BUSINESS NAME] have a website right now, or are you mostly just running off word of mouth and referrals?"

[If no website or weak website]: "Yeah, that's pretty common out here. A lot of [TRADE] businesses in [CITY] are in the same boat — people are searching for you on Google and you're just not showing up."

[If they have a website]: "Nice — is it actually bringing in new customers, or is it more just kind of there?"

Why:

The 'is it actually working?' question opens the door — most will admit it's not.

THE HOOK

Goal: Drop the offer fast and let the FREE do the heavy lifting. Don't bury it.

"So the reason I'm calling — we're doing something we've never done before. We're building free custom landing pages for local Colorado businesses right now. Free for the first three months. No catch, no credit card upfront. Built in 48 hours."

[Pause. Let that land.]

"We're only doing this for the first 100 businesses — it's a limited run while we're still building out the platform. You'd be one of the early spots."

COMPARISON ANCHOR

Goal: Pre-empt the Wix objection before they even think it. Plant the right frame.

"Now I know what you might be thinking — 'I could just throw something up on Wix myself.' And yeah, you could. But here's the thing: Wix is like $25 a month, but it takes most business owners 20 to 40 hours to build something that actually looks decent. That's basically a week of your time."
"Or you hire a freelancer — that's anywhere from $800 to $2,500 upfront, and you're waiting 4 to 6 weeks to go live."
"We're building it for you in 48 hours. Designed specifically for your trade, your town. And you're not paying a dime for the first three months."

SOFT CLOSE

Goal: Get them to the site OR agree to a proposal link. One clear next step.

"What I'd love to do is just shoot you a link — it's a quick 4-question quiz that figures out which page type fits your business best. Takes about two minutes. You can check out some live examples too. Want me to send that over to your phone right now while I have you?"

[If yes — confirm their number and send the /get-started link immediately]

"Perfect. I'm texting you liteprop.madethis.ai/get-started right now. Take a look when you get a sec — and if you want I can put together a custom proposal for [BUSINESS NAME] specifically. No pressure, just something to look at."
Step 6Send the Promo Link

Use this when you've created a personalized offer link for this prospect (e.g. /promo/SFPLUMB). This is the closing move for warm prospects.

"Sending you a link right now — your price is already locked in, just click the checkout button."
[Text them their personalized link: liteprop.madethis.ai/promo/[THEIR-CODE]]
"It's a personal link just for you — your price is already set when you open it. Just click the checkout button and you're in. That's it."

DO NOT say “promo code” or “enter a code at checkout.” The link IS the offer — the price is baked into the link itself. There's no code to type anywhere. Just say: “click the link.”

HARD CLOSE

Goal: Use only when the prospect is clearly warm — asking questions, engaged, saying 'yeah that sounds good.'

"Here's the thing — the free spots are actually going fast. If you want to lock yours in, there's a $49 reserve-your-spot deposit. It just holds your place in line, and it comes off your first bill. So you're not losing anything."
"I'm sending you the link right now — your price is already set, just click the checkout button and you're in."

NATURAL HANGUP (Not Interested)

Goal: Leave on good terms. They might refer someone.

"Totally fair — I appreciate you picking up. If you ever do want a page built or know another local business that could use one, just go to liteprop.madethis.ai. Take care."

[Done. Clean exit. Don't pitch again.]

Section 3

Objection Handling

Rule: Don't argue. Acknowledge, reframe, move on. One sentence to validate, one to redirect.
"I already have a website."
"That's great — is it actually pulling in new customers or is it more just sitting there? A lot of businesses we talk to have one but it's not really ranking locally. We could build you something optimized specifically for [CITY] searches — and with the free trial, it doesn't cost you anything to find out."
"I can't afford it."
"I hear you — that's exactly why we're doing the free three months. You're not paying anything today. After that it's $99.99 a month, which is less than a tank of gas. If it doesn't bring in a single new customer in 90 days, you cancel. Zero risk."
"I'll think about it."
"Totally — I'll shoot you a link right now so you have it. The only thing I'll say is the free spots are limited to the first 100 businesses, so if you're even a little curious, it's worth locking it in before they fill up. You can always cancel if it's not for you."

[Send the /first-100 link and set a 24-hour follow-up text reminder for yourself]

"I'm not interested."
"No worries at all — appreciate you being straight with me. If that ever changes, just go to liteprop.madethis.ai. Have a good one."

[Don't push. Move on.]

"Is this a scam?"
"Fair question — I'd think the same thing. We're a Colorado company, website is liteprop.madethis.ai. You can check out live pages we've built for other local businesses at liteprop.madethis.ai/showcase before you do anything. No payment needed to look around. All I'm asking is you take 60 seconds and check it out."
"What's the catch with free?"
"Good question — I'll be totally upfront. After the three free months it auto-bills at $99.99 a month. You can cancel before that if you want, no penalty. We make the money on the ongoing hosting and updates. The free period is just how we're getting businesses to try it without the risk. It's the same model as like a Netflix trial — except the thing we're giving you free is worth $300+ to build."

Section 4

SMS / Text Follow-Up Templates

Section 5

Voicemail Script

Rule: Never pitch on voicemail. Create curiosity. Make them call back to find out about the “free” thing.
“Hey, this is [YOUR NAME] calling for [NAME / the owner at BUSINESS NAME] — this is a quick message from Liteprop.

I was going to tell you about something we're doing for [CITY]-area [TRADE] businesses right now — it's free, and it's only open to the first hundred local businesses in Colorado.

Give me a quick call back when you get a chance — [YOUR NUMBER] — or just check it out at liteprop.madethis.ai/first-100. Talk soon.”

(Under 20 seconds. Curious, not pitchy.)
